Schedule A of positions excepted from examination under Rule II, clause 3, of the Civil Service Rules is hereby amended by striking out paragraph 1 of Subdivision III relating to the Treasury Department, which reads:
- Not exceeding one solicitor to the collector at the port of New York, if authorized by the Secretary of the Treasury.
The remaining paragraphs of the subdivision will be renumbered accordingly.
