Edwin M. Hamilton of New York may be appointed lumberman in the Indian Service at large, without reference to paragraph (a), civil service rule No. IX, relating to reinstatement, he having resigned February 28, 1909, from the position of supervisor in the Forest Service, in charge of the Black Hills National Park, with headquarters at Deadwood, S. Dak.
