FAILURE.
Whenever sundown colors go
To where all sundowns have retreated,
I wonder what of me has died,
How much of me has been defeated.

Though winds are dumb and shadows gather,
Though nothing, nothing in me cries,
Yet strangely I become aware of
The tears within the twilight's eyes.
