Description
English: From a MS. (Illustration in Du Sommerard, op. cit., album, 4e série, pl. xvii.) preserved in the library of the Arsenal in Paris, executed for the dukes of Burgundy in the middle of the 15th century. It is a trumpet of the cavalry type with a single straight slide drawn out so far that the bell rests on the performer's foot.
