Summary

Description
English: Self-definitive illustration, an old stone church at El Paso. I wonder if it still exists. This illustration if from the book entitled, Face To Face With The Mexicans. Yes, it still exists, in Juarez; the drawing is adapted from the painting at [1], which says "“The Plaza and Church of El Paso,” painted by artist A. de Vauducourt during the 1850s, depicts the mission of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe de los Mansos. Founded for the Mansos in 1659, the mission was the first to be established in the El Paso area. Today the carefully restored church stands in downtown Ciudad Juárez."
