Epitomes[edit]
Large portions of Livy's history are now lost, but some idea of their contents can be found in epitomes or abridgments, such as:
- Florus, Epitome of Roman History - 2nd century summary of Roman wars, based largely on Livy
- Perochiae - 4th century Latin epitome, which preserves Livy's book divisions
- Eutropius, Abridgement of Roman History - 4th century, based largely on Livy
