Regarding the synchronization of page images between the 1905 and 1903 editions: pp. 1-324 (1905, v. 8) are synchronized with pp. 560-883 (1903, v. 7); pp. 330-810 (1905, v. 8) are synchronized with pp. 2-482 (1903, v. 8); pp. 325-329 (1905, v.8) are a transition section representing a slightly and carefully abridged version of pp. 884-888 (1903, v.7) and p. 1 (1903, v. 8). The transition pages, for which the 1903 and 1905 editions don't match, appear with an asterisk (*) in their labels. The 1905 edition has volume by volume information on authors for selected articles. The 1903 edition has no volume by volume information on authors, but in the first volume has a "partial list of contributors and office editors" similar (probably identical) to that contained in the first volume of the 1905 edition.
