How are we treating the copyright status of this work? Is there evidence it was published in the USA before 1923 to be public domain via that route? Winston Churchill didn't die until 1965 so his work is not out of UK copyright yet; indeed neither is that of David Lloyd George (d. 1945). And what do we make of the photos, which have no photographer credit - are they eligible for Commons?--Keith Edkins (talk) 12:14, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

I used blockquotes because smaller just doesn’t render particularly well in Firefox, IMO. But, smaller is probably more faithful to the unindented text. I’m not fussed either way. Moondyne (talk) 13:21, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

I did not know what to do about the fact that some authors were vague or poorly credited, and those easily recognizable had multiple works with their names as titles, so I started a special list Great Speeches of the War/Authors.
