Given the dates, that suggests a possible copyright concern as the UK considers collobrative works to have joint authorship and it's the last surviving authors lifetime that determines the copyright status. I have looked into this matter. This says that a sub-editor is not necessarily an author. The authority given for this proposition is Cummins v Bond [1927] 1 Ch 167. James500 (talk) 06:10, 3 July 2019 (UTC) I do not think this volume is a single work of joint authorship. It is possible for a volume to include multiple separate works. If the contents of a volume have more than one author, it does not automatically mean they are joint authors of a single work.
