Elphinstone, Howard Warburton M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1857, F.L.S., late lecturer to Incorporated Law Society, joint author of Compendium of Precedents in Conveyancing, author of Introduction to Conveyancing, a student of Lincoln's Inn 27 Oct., 1859 (then aged 29), called to the bar 11 June, 1862 (only son of Sir Howard Elphinstone, Bart., of Lincoln's Inn, bar.-at-law); born 26 July, 1830; married 4 Aug., 1860, Constance Mary Alexander, 3rd dau. of late John Alexander Hankey, Esq., of Balcombe Place, Sussex, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
