Evans, Griffith Humphrey Pugh, M.A. Lincoln Coll., Oxon, B.A. 1862, member Legislative Council of India, practised before the High Court of Calcutta, J.P., D.L. Cardiganshire, a student of Lincoln's Inn 7 Nov., 1864 (then aged 24), called to the bar 11 June, 1867 (3rd son of John Evans, Esq., of Lovesgrove, near Aberystwith); born ⁠, 1840; married ⁠,1873, Emilia, dau. of late James Hills, Esq., and has issue.
