Griffin, Marten Harcourt, J.P. Shropshire and Staffordshire, a student of the Middle Temple 3 Feb., 1857, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1861 (2nd son of Alfred Griffin, of the Middle Temple, bar.-at-law); born , 1836; married 25 Jan., 1865, Isabella Elizabeth, youngest dau. of Rev. and Hon. William Henry Spencer, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, B. Churchill).
