Hamilton, Henry Best Hans, major 3rd brigade Northumberland artillery militia since 1876, a member of the North-eastern circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 13 Nov., 1869, went to the Inner Temple 12 Nov., 1872 (then aged 22), where he was called to the bar 30 April, 1873 (2nd son of Ven. George Hans Hamilton, archdeacon of Lindisfarne and vicar of Eglingham); born 19 Oct., 1850; married 22 July, 1875, Margaret Gordon, dau. of late J. Bond Cabbell, Esq., of Cromer Hall, Norfolk.
