Hazlitt, William Carew, educated at Merchant Taylors' school, 1842-50, author of Bibliographical Collections and Notes, The History of the Venetian Republic, editor of Warton's History of English Poetry, and many other books, a student of the Inner Temple 22 Jan., 1859 (then aged 24), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1861 (eldest son of William Hazlitt, Esq., of London); born 22 Aug., 1835; married 10 Oct., 1860, Henrietta, dau. of John Foulkes, Esq., of Ashfield, Wrexham.
