Partridge, William, police magistrate Westminster police court since 1863, stipendiary magistrate Wolverhampton 1860–3, M.A., Christ Church, Oxon, 1860, from Winchester Coll., J.P., D.L. cos. Hereford and Monmouth, J.P. cos. Gloucester, Sussex, and Stafford, a director of Ross and Monmouth Railway, a student of Lincoln's Inn 12 June, 1840 (then aged 22), went to the Middle Temple 8 June, 1843, where he was called to the bar 3 Nov., 1843 (eldest son of John Partridge, Esq., of Bishop's Wood, co. Hereford); born 2 Jan., 1818; married 16 Nov., 1841, Elizabeth Emily, dau. of late Richard Webb, Esq., J.P., D.L., of Donnington Hall, co. Hereford, and has issue.
