Paterson, William, a revising barrister on the South-eastern circuit, author of Practical Statutes, a member of the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting in Queen's bench appeal court, a student of Gray's Inn 13 Jan., 1840, called to the bar 25 Jan., 1843, admitted a barrister of the Middle Temple ad eundem 12 June, 1846 (eldest son of William Paterson, Esq., of London); born , ; married 18 March, 1848, Elizabeth Fanny, only dau. of late Christopher Stevens, Esq., of Havant.
