Pinhey, (Hon.) Robert Hill, puisne judge Bombay since 1875, acting judge 1873-5, entered Bombay civil service 1851, appointed first registrar on appellate side of the High Court Bombay 1862, acting judge of Surat and Government agent in 1863, judge of the Konkau at Thava 1863, judicial commissioner and judge of the Sadar court, etc., Sindh province 1869-71, judge of Poona 1871-3, a student of Lincoln's Inn 3 Nov., 1859 (then aged 27), called to the bar 30 April, 1869 (eldest son of Robert Pinhey, Esq., of Starcross, Devon); born , 1832.
