Venables, Rowland George, B.A. Univ. Coll., Oxon, from Rugby, J.P. Salop, a member of the Oxford circuit, chairman of Ludlow Board of Guardians, a student of the Inner Temple 18 April, 1868 (then aged 22), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1872 (only son of late Rev. Joseph George Venables, M.A., of Truro, Cornwall); born 18 Jan., 1846; married 1 Jan., 1880, Gertrude, widow of Rev. James Hook, vicar of Morton, Salop, 4th dau. of late John Hargreaves, Esq., of Silwood Park, Berks, and has issue.
