Yates, Joseph Maghull, B.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1867, from Westminster School (exhibition), a member of the Northern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 27 April, 1866 (then aged 21), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1869 (eldest son of Joseph St. John Yates, of Sandbach, Cheshire, county court judge); born 19 June, 1844; married 29 May, 1873, Wilhelmina Elizabeth, eldest dau. of W. H. Wylde, Esq., C.M.G., of Sulhamstead, Chiswick, and has issue.
