SUBTITLE C — AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS
[edit]Sec. 421. Military personnel.
[edit]- (a) Authorization of Appropriations.—There is hereby authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Defense for military personnel for fiscal year 2010 a total of $136,016,281,000.
- (b) Construction of Authorization.—The authorization of appropriations in subsection (a) supersedes any other authorization of appropriations (definite or indefinite) for such purpose for fiscal year 2010.
Sec. 422. Repeal of delayed one-time shift of military retirement payments.
[edit]- (a) Repeal.—Section 1002 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 (Public Law 110-417; 122 Stat. 4581) is repealed.
- (b) Effect on Earlier Transfer.—The repeal of section 1002 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 by subsection (a) shall not effect the validity of the transfer of funds made pursuant to subsection (e) of such section before the date of the enactment of this Act.
