Section153.The Monarch wields the prerogative to announce war when He has received the approval of the National Assembly.

The resolution of the National Assembly to express its consent must be adopted by a vote of not less than two thirds of the total number of the Members of both chambers.

Section154.The Monarch wields the prerogative to conclude written agreements[1] of peace or pacification of war and conclude other written agreements with all countries.

Any written agreement which provides for a change in the Thai territory or requires the issuance of an act for its implementation must obtain approval of the National Assembly.

Section155.The Monarch wields the prerogative to grant pardon.

Section156.The Monarch wields the prerogative to remove estates[2] and recall royal decorations.
