נהר m. (b. h.; v. נהר) river, stream, canal. Ex. R. s. 15 אש נהר, אש של ׳ a river of fire (v. דינור). Gen. R. s. 16 עד וכ׳ מהלך שהנ׳ מקום as far as the river (Euphrates) goes, goes the border of the land of Israel. Shebi. VI, 1ועד מכזיב הנ׳ from Kezib to the river (N'har Mitsrayim); a. fr. -- Pl. נהרים, נהרות. Gen. R. l. c. (ret. to Gen.
