few days ago. A protestant Army chaplain, the only one I have seen in France, paid the last tribute over his body. They buried him with military honors. Old Glory was draped over the coffin, and his coat with the Croix de Guerre which they had given him, was placed upon it. We marched away before the body was lowered into the grave, as is the custom at such funerals.
