THE eccessively high price of Sperm Oil is fast causing the elegant Table and other Lamps, on the Argand Principle, to be laid aside. The ARGAND LAMP OIL is confidently offered to the Public as a substitute for Sperm Oil, it burns with a clear bright flame, without smoke or so soot, does not obstruct the Tubes of the Lamps more than the best Sperm Oil, with the advantage that does not chill with the cold; it consumes slower than Sperm or other Oils, consequently, is not more than one-third the expense of Sperm Oil; and for SOLARLAMPS has been proved in experience to be CHEAPER than the Common Oil, without the offensive smell. Half-a-Gallon upwrards will be sent to any part of Town, as a trial of the ADVANTAGE and ECONOMY of USING the ARGAND LAMP OIL.
