Q Mr. Stone, in front of you and your attorney there are binders with some documents that we're going to look at today. I'd ask that you first look at what's behind the tab No. 1. It's marked as exhibit 1.
This is a copy of the subpoena issued by the select committee on November 22nd, 2021. The exhibit itself contains the subpoena, a cover letter from the chairman, a document schedule providing production instructions, and a copy of the House rules and regulations regarding the conduct of the deposition.
First, can you please confirm that you are the Roger Stone named in this subpoena?
A My name is Roger Stone, and I believe that is correct.
