Archi seems rather a gentile name, derived from Arach, Erek, or Erech, 'Ain "Arik, between Beitin and Beit Ur.

Arebba (Jos., xv, 60; mount, of Juda): Kh. Rebba S.W. of Jerusalem, near Beit Nettif(?).

Arecon (Jos., xix, 46; Dan): Tell er-Raqqeit, N. of Jaffa.

Areopolis, Greek name of Ar Moab.
