THE BARONETAGE. The ALPHABETICAL ARRANGEMENT includes (/.) the names of Baronets, and (ft.) the names of extinct baronetcies that are represented in the female line. With each biography is given particulars of every living member of the Baronet's family. Compound surnames are arranged under the letter of the last and principal surname, e.g., Have lock- Allan will be found in its order in the letter A. Addresses of Clubs ; see Index. ABBREVIATIONS. See leaf facing page i. An Index to the Surnames and Christian names of married daughters, sisters, and aunts of Baronets is given in a separate section. The " Knightage " and the " Companionage " are separate sections of the volume. The Christian names of the heir (apparent or presumptive) are given in capital letters. "OCCURRENCES DURING PRINTING" are noted in a separate section." It is desirable that information relating to Births, Baptisms, Marriages, Deaths, Promotions, Alterations of Addresses, etc., be forwarded to the Editor as they occur.
