Douglas, Abbé. Arrested, Dec. 1789, for complicity in the
plot for the King's escape to Metz, but prosecution
was dropped. Qy. brother of Charles Joseph Douglas,
ex-captain in the Scotch Guard, one of the alleged
Orleanist instigators of the mob march to Versailles.
