WHILST PART OF SALISBURY DIOCESE.

Aaron was styled archdeacon of Dorset, but the year is uncertain 66 .

John, chancellor of this church, was likewise an arch- deacon in this diocese, and seemingly of Dorset, in tho year 1 121".

Girardls de Bingham was archdeacon of Dorset, but the year is uncertain.

Adelelmus was also archdeacon of Dorset 68 ; and was a witness to a deed of bishop Joscelin's, who died in 1 1 84W.

William was archdeacon of Dorset in 1 190" .
