The Russian Presidential Press an Information Office confirms that all material from the Russian President’s official website www.kremlin.ru may be reproduced in any media outlets, on Internet servers or on any other information supports without restriction on the amount of material and time of publication. This authorisation covers equally newspapers, magazines, radio stations, TV channels and Internet sites. The only condition is that any reproduction or broadcasting of the website’s materials contain a reference to the original source - www.kremlin.ru
We cannot make reference on the Russian President’s official site to the license Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported, as this document is not on the statutes of the Russian Federation. At the same time, in practice we express our agreement with the Wikipedia community’s copyright policy as reflected in the license Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported.
You can consider this letter to be an official authorization for the members of the Wikipedia community to use materials with reference to www.kremlin.ru without restriction, which fully complies with the conditions of the license Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported.
