Achilles and Patroclus

Now his only wish was to destroy the man who had killed his friend, though he knew full well his own death must follow Hector's, for Fate commanded it. Thetis brought him new armor, again forged by a god. Heedless of certain doom, Achilles donned his new gear and raced to battle. With cold, relentless fury he chased down Hector and tore out his life, dragged his body round and round walled Troy and off to his own lodge as an offering to dead Patroclus.
