ARTICLE III.

Towns and Citizens.

The law made by the preſent Diet, entitled, Our royal free towns within the dominions of the Republic, we mean to conſider as a part of the preſent conſtitution, and promiſe to maintain it as a new, additional, true, and effectual ſupport, or our common liberties, and our mutual defence.
