That all Fines, Penalties and Forfei- Fines, &c. how tures, in Relation to the faid Duties by this A<£t impofed on Hops, except in fuch Cafes where other Pro- recoverable. vifions are made by this AiSt, fhall and may be fued for, levied and recovered, or mitigated by fuch Ways, Means and R4ethods, as any Fine, Penalty and Forfeiture, is or may be recovered or mitigated, by any Laws of Excife now in Force, and not by Action of Debt, Bill, Plaint or Informatian in any of her Majefty's Courts of Record at IVefiminfer, or in the Court oi Exchequer in Scotland, and that one Moiety of every fuch Fine, Penalty and Forfeiture (unlefs in Cafes otheruife prefcribed by this Act) fhall be to her M^jefty^ her Heirs and Succeflbrs, and the other Moiety to him or them that fliall difcover, in- form, or fue for the fame. ' XXVII. And in Regard the Growth of Hops, in feveral Parts of Great Britain, is ver^r much in- No Drawback on ' creafed of late Years,' it is hereby further provided and enafled by the Authority aforefaid. That none fo™!/^"^^^)"^^ of the Duties by this or any former Aft granted upon any Hops whatfoever, (except Hops of Britijh Growth) fhall be repaid or drawn back upon the Exportation thereof for Ireland; and that no Perfon or Hops imported Perfons whatfoever fhall import or caufe to be imported into the faid Kingdom oi Ireland from Flanders from Fladers, or' any other Parts whatfoever (other than from Great Britain) any Hops whatfoever, upon Pain of for- ^^'^•'"l:'^" feiting all the Hops which fhall be fo imported into Ireland, contrary to the true Meaning of this Aft, or s°hip,"'&c." That Ptice. the Perfon ferving fuch Hops, after the faid fiift Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and eleven, in Purfusnce of fuch former Contrafts, fliall be allowed to ; dd the Duties hereby charged upon fuch Hops to the Price thereof, and fhall be entitled by virtue of this Aft to be paid for the fame accordingly. XXIX. An Act for raifing a Sum not exceed- ing two Millions, upon a Fund for Pavment of Annuities, aftet the Rate of eight Founds per Centum per An- num, and for fettling the Trade to the'Lz'A.
