On or within twenty Days next after the five and twentieth Day of December, five and twentieth Day of March, four and twentieth Dzy o{ June, and the Monies which fhall, on or before every refpeftive five and twentieth Day of December, five and twentieth Day of March, four and twentieth Day of June, and nine and twentieth Day of September, of and in each and every refpeftive Year, have arifen or been brought into the Exchequer, in the preceding Quarter of a Year, ending on the faid five and twentieth Day of December, five and twentieth Day of March, four and twervtieth Day of June, and nine and twentieth Day of September, in every Year, for or upon all the faid Duties, Revenues, and Branches hereby charged, as aforefaid ; and that dedufting thereout fo much as fhall be fufficient to pay and fatisfy, and which fliall be accordingly applied to pay and fatisfy the Intereft for fijch preceding Quarter of a Year, upon and for all the Monies then due and unpaid of the faid Prin- cipal Sum of two millions fix hundred and two thoufand two hundred Pounds, or of fuch proportionable Part thereof, as fhall be due, by virtue of this Aft, or for Payment whereof Money is not referved in the Exchequer, the whole Refidue and Remainder of the Monies fo arifing or coming into the Exchequer, in fuch preceding Quarter of a Year, fhall be immediately, from time to time, applicable, appropriated, and applied towards paying and difcharging fuch Part of the faid Principal Sum of two millions fix hundred and two thoufand and two hundred Pounds, or of fuch proportionable Part thereof, as fhall be due by virtue of this Aft, as fhall then remain due and unpaid, and that according to fuch Method and Courfe of Pay- ment, as aforefaid, fo as the whole Produce of all the faid Duties, Revenues, and Branches hereby charg- ed, as aforefaid, which fhall be brought into the faid Receipt of the Exchequer in any one Year, to be computed from the nine and twentieth Day of September in every Year, doth not amount to more than the faid yearly Sum of one hundred eighty-fix thoufand fix hundred and feventy Pounds, or fuch proportion- able Part thereof, as is hereby appropriated for paying and. difcharging the Principal Money and Intereft charged
