  • XXXIII. And whereas by an Aft pafl'ed in the eighth Year of his Majefty's Reign (wherein cer-
  • tain Duties were granted upon Malt and other Things) feveral Tickets were made forth for feveral

^ Sums of Money, payable with Intereft ; feveral of which Tickets are fince burnt, loft or otherwife de- ' ftroyed j' Be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That in all Cafes where it fliall appear by Affidavit, to be made before any of the Barons of the Exchequer, that any Ticket or Tickets, being in Courfe of Payment, out of the Monies arifen or to arife, on or before the tenth Day of May one thoufand jiialt Tickets ^^ hundred ninety-nine, into the Receipt of the Exchequer for the Duties aforefaid, is or are burnt, de- burnt or loft on fttoyed, or Otherwife loft, it fliall and may be lawful for the Officer or Officers, appointed to pay or dif- Affitiavit made charge the faid Annuities, on producing a Certificate from the faid Baron, of fuch Affidavit made before thereo. and Cer- him, which Affidavit the faid Barons, or any of them, is and are hereby authorized to take, and which tjficate.
