A. D. 1716, Anno tertio Georgii Regis. G. 7. 115 Vance and pay there for purchasing an Annuitv or Annuities at a Rate not exceeding five Pounds per Centum per Annum, to be paid out of the laid general Fund 1 by this Act eftablifhed, and to be redeemable by Parlia- ment according to this Act ; and the laid Commiffioners of the Treafury or High Treafurer and Under 21 "* a PP'y &? Treafurer of the Exchequer for the Time being, are hereby authorized and required to iflue and apply, ^["^'"l^l'r S caufe to be irtued and applied, all the Monies lo to be advanced for or towards paying off the Principalortere, & C . U "" and Intereft upon the laid Lottery Orders, or any of them, and for or towards the paying off the laid Moieties and Arrearages of the faid annual Payments of three Pounds per Centum per Annum, charged or chargeable on the hereditary Excife as aforefaid, and to and for none other Ufe, Intent or Purpofe what- foever. XVII. XVIII. And it is hereby enabled by the Authority aforefaid, That in all Cafes where the Principal and Where Lottery. ' XIX. And whereas the Sum of fixty-one thoufand feven hundred and feven Pounds three Shillings
