"!/r^^ "^ Gracious Sovereign; Whereas by an Act of Parliament made and'paffed in the feventh 7 Ann, c.7*. 1VA Year of the Reign of her late Majefty Queen Anne, of bleffed Memory, intituled, An A El for ' enlarging the Capital Stock of the Bank of England, and for ra'ijing a further Supply to her Majejly for the ' Service of the Tec. r one thoufand feven hundred and nine, the Governor and Company of the Bank of Eng- ' landweve obliged, in the Manner therein mentioned, to deliver up to be cancelled certain Exchequer- c bills which had been made forth by a former Act of Parliament in that Behalf, which Bills, with Inte- e Ann. cv.r3.i- ' reft thereupon, were computed to: amount to feventeen hundred feventy-fiv-e thoufand twenty-feven f Pounds feventeen Shillings ten Pence Half-penny ; and to the End the faid Governor and Company of ' the Bank of England, and their Succeffors, might have a competent Recompence and Confideration for' .
