C. 4. 259 Times of fubfcribing or paying off' the fame, or any«of them, to accept and take (in lieu of the faid one hundred Pounds per Centum in Money) a Share or Shares of and in the capital or joint Stock of the faid South-Sea Company, increafed and to be mcreafed purfuant to this Act, at fuch Price or Prices as (hall at <<ich Prices at then be mutually agreed by and between the fame Company, or their Court of Directors in their Behalf, <>«M be mutinlly and the faid Proprietors, or any of them ; or if all or any the Proprietors of all or any the faid Annuities^!',, ^(^ computed in and by this Aft to amount feverally to fiK hundred fix ty- fix thoufand eight hundred twenty- fcrib'in.-, in lieu one Pounds eight Shillings and three Pence Half-penny per Annum, forty-fix thoufand two hundred and of Money, fixty Pounds fix Shillings and one Penny per Annum, and eighty-one thoufand Pounds per Annum, or thereabouts, fhall be willing and defirous, at the Time or refpeftive Times of taking in the fame, or any »f them, by Purchafe or Subfcriptions as aforefaid, to accept and take (for and in lieu of their refpaSHve Annuities or Debts) a Share or Shares of and in the fame capital or joint Stock increafed and to be in- creafed purfuant to this Aft, at fuch Rate or Rates for the faid Stock as fhall then be mutually agreed by and between the fame Company, or their Court of Directors in their Behalf, and the faid Proprietors, or any of them ; that then and in all and every fuch Cafe and Cafes the faid feveral and refpeftive Proprietors fuch Proprietors fo defiring to accept (for or in lieu of their refpeftive Annuities or Debts) fuch Shares in Stocks, fhall be f 1 " 11 be admitted entitled thereunto accordingly ; and the fame Proprietors, whether they be Natives or Foreigners, Bodies ,nt » t '>eCompa- Politick or Corporate, his, her, and their Executors, Adminiftrators, SuccetTors and Afligns refpeftivcly share's, fhall have and enjoy and be entitled, by Force and Virtue of this Aft, to have and enjoy of and in the faid capital or joint Stock of the fame Company increafed and to be increafed as aforefaid, fuch refpeftive Shares as aforefaid, and in refpeft of fuch Shares fhall be deemed and taken to be Members of the fame Company, and be incorporated into the fame, and fhall, in proportion to the fame Shares refpeftively, have and be entitled to the like Benefits, Powers, Privileges and Advantages, as other Members of that Company fhall or ought to enjoy in refpeft of their Shares in the faid capital Stock ; and that all and every fuch Proprietor and Proprietors, from ,the Time or refpeftive Times of his, her or their agreeing, by Contraft, Subfcription or otherwife, to accept fuch Stock in lieu and Satisfaction of his, her or their Aiv nuities, Debts or other Incumbrances before-mentioned, fhall have Credit in the Books of the fame Com- pany for his, her or their Proportion or Share of and in the whole capital or joint Stock of the fame Cor- poration increafed and to be increafed as aforefaid, and of and in all Dividends, Profits and Advantages whatfoever to attend the fame. XXIII. XXIV.
