XLV1I. Provided always, That fuch Sums as by or in purfuance of any other Act or Acts of Parlia- For the Com- ment are or fhall be due or payable to any Commiffioners for taking, examining, ftating and determi- 1 "?^ 10 "" 5 of ning the Debts due to the Army, for their Salaries, or for their Clerks, or other incident Charges, fhaii r or may be paid out of the Aids or Supplies aforefaid, or any of them ; any Thing herein contained to. the contrary notwithstanding. XLVIII. And as to the laid Sum of ninety-nine thoufand Pounds by this Act appropriated on account Rules to be ob- of Half-pay as aforefaid, It is hereby enacted and declared bv the Authority aforefiiid, That the Rules ,;:i ' veH ,n . the herein after prelcribed fhall be duly obferved in the Application thereof ; That is to fay, theHaif-p"y. That no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, who was a Minor under the Age of fixteen Years at the Time when the Regiment, Troop or Company in which he ferved was reduced. That no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, except fuch Perfons who did actual Service in fome Reg ment, Troop or Company. That no Perfon having any other Place or Employment of Profit, Ci il or Military, under his Ma- jefty, fhall have or receive any Part of the faid Half-pay.. That no Chaplain of any Garrifon or Regiment, who has any ecclefiaftical Benefice, or other Prefer- ment in Great Britain or Ireland, fhall have or. receive my Part of the faid Half-pay. That no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, who hath refigned his Commiffion, and has had no Commiffion fince. That no Part of the fame fhall be allowed to any Perfons, by virtue of any Warrant or Appointment 1 .,, except to fuch Perfons who would have been otherwife entitled to the fame, as reduced Officers. And that no Part of the fame fhall be allowed to any of the Officers of the five Regiments of Dra- goons and eight Regiments of Foot lately difbanded in Ireland, except to fuch as were lately taken off the Eftablifhment of Half-pay in Great Britain. ' XLIX. And whereas by an A£t of Parliament made in the fifth Year of his Majefty's P.eign, inti-sGeo, 1. c. 19. ' tuled, An Ad for redeeming the Fund appropriated for Payment of the Lottery-tickets which were ?nad: forth ' for the Service of the Year one thoufand fven hundred and ten, by a voluntary Suhfcription of the Proprietors ' into the capital Stock of the South-Sea Company ; and for raifing a Sum of Money to pi-y off fuch Debts and ' Incumbrances as are therein mentioned; and for appropriating the Supplies granted in this SeJJion of Parliament; ' 'and to limit Times for Projecutions upon Bonds for exporting Cards and Dice, feveral Supplies which had ' been granted to his Majefty, as is therein mentioned, were appropriated to feveral Ufes and Purpofes. ' therein exprefted ; amongft which any Sum or Sums not exceeding the Sum of one hundred and ten.
