An Aft to continue two Acts of Parliament for repairing the Highways between JVymondham and Attlebo- rough, and from JVymondham to Hctherfet in the County of Norfolk ; the one paffed in the feventh and eighth Years of the Reign of his late Majefty King William the Third, and the other in the feventh Year of the R.ign of her late Majefty Queen Anne; and for repairing the Road from the Mouth of JVigmore-Lane to Hall-JValk Gate in Attkborough in the (aid County. P R. By this Act the Aft of 7 W 8 JV. 3. c. 26. and the private Act of 7 Ann. c. 4. are continued for twenty- one Years. [Continued by 20 Geo. 2. c. 16.] CAP. XXIII. An Act for repairing the Roads leading from the weftern Part of the Parifh of Shenfield to Harwich in the County of Effix, and the Road leading from Chelmsford in the faid County to Sudbury in the County of Suffolk, and from Margretting to Maiden in the County of EJJex, and from Colchejhr to Langham in the fame County. XXIV. .An Act for repairing the Road from the City of Gloucefter to Stone, and alfo the Roads to and near Berkley, Durjley, JVotton under Edge, Stroud and Sodbury in the County of Gloucefter. P R. The Toll took Place the 24th of June 1726, and is to continue for 21 Years. [Continued by 19 Geo. 2 c. 18.J CAP. XXV. Jin A& to enable the prefent and future Inhabitants of the Eaft, North and Weft Sides or Lines of Saint James's Square, to make a Rate on themfelves for raiftng Money fufficient to clean, adorn and beautify the faid Square, and to continue the fame in Repair. PR. Truftees appointed for adorning St. James's Square. Annoying the Square by Filth, &c. forfeits 70s. Incroachments forfeit 50 /. No Hackney Coach to ply there, on Pain of io*. A Rate on the Houfes not exceeding 10s. a Foot yearly for the three front Lines. Houfes, occupied by Embaffadors, to be .paid by the Landlords. Differences to be determined by the Truftees. Truftees to appoint Collectors and Receivers. Square exempt from Scavenger's Rates. Inhabitants, &c. may advance not exceeding 6000/. by Annuities for 32 Years. Truftees may mortgage the Rates. New ones to be chofen in the -Room of Truftees deceafed. CAP. XXVI.
