28 C. 12. Anno primo Georgii Regis. Stat 2. A. D. 1714. Bills fell be three Pounds per Centum per Annum, and Intereft of two Pence per Centum per -Diem, and the faid Sums of paid off. forty-five thoufand Pounds per Annum, eight thoufand Pounds per Annum, one hundr-jd and twenty thou- fand Pounds per Ant: demandable are always to ty thoufand nine hundred ninety- nine Pounds feven Shillings, or h much thereof, as the Pv.emainder of the Monies of the faid General or Aggregate Fund, arifing or to arife by the faid Duties or Revenues already commenced, or hereafter to come in, as aforefaid, fhall from Time to Time produce for that Purpofe, fhall be, and is by this Aft appropriated for paying oft' all the principal Money contained in all and e.ery the -faid Exchequer-bills made forth, upon the Afts aforefaid, or any of them, and for cancelling the fame, until all the faid Bills fhall be discharged and cancelled, and fhall be iffued' and applied to and for that Ule and Purpofe, in foch Manner as the Commimoners of the Treafury, or Lord Treafurer for the Time being, fhall from Time to Time direft and appoint in that Behalf; and that the Iffues thereof fhall be made quarterly, or ofter.er, fo as by the Payments within any Quarter, the fourth Part of the yearly Sum laff mentioned for that Quarter be not exceeded. Provided alfo, and it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That in cafe the Produce of b/parl'iarneiit^ the ^'^ General or Aggregate Fund, to arife by all or any the Subfidies, Duties and Revenues hereby ap- propriated for all the Purpofes aforefaid, fhall at the End of any Year, reckoning from the faid Feaft cf St. Michael the Archangel in the Year of our Lord one thoufand- feven hundred and fifteen, exceed all the Money due at the End of every fuch Year for all the Purpofes aforefaid, fo that there fhall be an Excefs or Surplus of the faid General Fund, fuch Excefs or Surplusfhall be difpofable, from Time to Time, for the publick Ufe and Service by Authority of Parliament, and not otherwife; any Thing herein, or in any other Aft or Acts of Parliament contained to the contrary notwkhftanding. Eafe'^d 'b' ^ X ^IV. Provided alfo, and it is hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That in cafe the Produce of Parliament. Provided alfo, and it is-hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That if the Revenues fettled 70C.000I. for the Civil Lift, iliall be Part of the aggregate Jund. 1 Geo. 1. faid additional Revenue of one hundred and twenty thoufand Pounds per Annum, intended by this Aft to Stat. 1. c. 1. be fupplied as aforefaid, fhall from the faid Feaft of St. Michael the Archangel in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen, at any Time during his Majefty's Life, produce in clear Money more than the yearly Sum of feven hundred thoufand Pounds, that then the Overplus of fuch Produce (be- ing more than the faid yearly Sum of feven hundred thoufand Pounds) fhall go to, and be deemed and ta- ken to be Part of the General or Aggregate Fund by this Aft intended to be effablifhed for the feveral Pur- pofes aforefaid, and be appropriated, iffued and applied accordingly, till all the faid Exchequer-bills fhall ^be paid off and cancelled; and from and after the cancelling and discharging of all the faid Exchequer- Bills, then the faid Overplus which from thenceforth fhall arife, exceeding the faid yearly Sum of feven hundred thoufand Pounds, fhall not be iffued, difpofed, made ufe of, or applied to any Ufe or Purpofe, All Grants of or U p n any Pretext whatfoever, without the Authority of Parliament; and that all Grants and'Difpofi- wUh^rAutho- t '°- ns wnat f° ev ' er hereafter to be made by his Majefty of fuch Overplus, or any Part thereof, from Time' to rity of Parlin- Time, without Authority of Parliament, fhall be utterly void and of none Effeft; and the Grantees, or inent, void. other Perfons to whom fuch Grants or Difpofitions, or any of th:m, fhall be made of fuch Overplus, or any Part thereof, fhall be adjudged uncapable in Law to take, hold, keep, detain, or enjoy the fame; any Law, Cuftom, or Ufage to the contrary notwithffanding. Provided alfo, and it is hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That if the faid Revenues made good out fettled or appointed for the Service of his Majefty's Houfhold, and of the Honour and Dignity of the' Crown, iGeo. n i.
