' *Y 7 HERE AS by a Claufe in an Act of Parliament paffed in the third Year of his late Ma- ' yV jefty's Reign, intituled, An Ail for explaining an Acl pafjed in the lajl Sejfion of Parliament, in- ' tituled, An Act to oblige Papifts to regifbr their Names and Real Eftates, and for enlarging the Time ' for fuch Regiftring, and for fecuring Purchafes made by Protefiants, it was enacted, That from and after ' the nine and twentieth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and ' feventeen no Manors, Lands, Tenements, Hereditaments or any Intereft therein, or Rent or Pro- ' fit thereout, fhould pafs, alter or change from any Papift or Perfon profeffing the Popifh Religion, by ' any Deed or Will, except fuch Deed within fix Months after the Date, and fuch Will within (ix ' Months after the Death of the Teftator, mould be inrolled in one of the King's Courts of Record

An Acl for explaining and amending the Acl of the lajl Sejfion of Parliament, intituled, An Act to ' oblige all Perfons being Papifts, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, and all Perfons in Great ' Britain refufing or neglecting to take the Oaths appointed for the Security of his Majefty's Perfon and ' Government, by feveral Acts herein mentioned, to regifter their Names and Real Eftates, and for enlarg- ' ing the Time for taking the faid Oaths and making fuch Regi/lers, and for allowing further Time for the ' Inrolment of Deeds or Wills made by Papifts, which have been omitted to be inrolled, purfuant to an Ad ' of the third Year of his [aid late Majeftfs Reign, and alfo for giving Relief to Proteftant Leffees, it was en- ' acted, for the Relief of fuch Perfons who had neglected or omitted to inrol their Deeds or Wills, that ' every Deed and Will which had been then made, fince the nine and twentieth Day of September one ' thoufand feven hundred and feventeen, in order to pafs, alter or change any Manors, Lands, Tene- ' ments or Hereditaments or any Intereft: therein, or Rent or Profit thereout, from any Perfon profeffing ' the Popifh Religion, though not then inrolled, fhould be as good and effectual in the Law, as the fame ' would have been, in cafe the faid Deeds and Wills had been inrolled within the Time limited by the ' faid Claufe in the faid former Act for Inrolment thereof, provided the faid Deeds and Wills fhould be ' inrolled on or before the nine and twentieth Day of September one thoufand feven hundred and twenty- ' four in fuch Manner as by the faid former Act was directed : And whereas by a Claufe in another Act 5 Geo. i, c.29. ' of Parliament paffed in the third Year of his prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled, An Acl for continuing ' and amending an Acl for regulating the Price and Ajfize of Bread, for Relief of Bankrupts whofe Ccrtifi- 1 cates were not allowed before the Expiration of a late Acl for the better preventing Frauds committed by Bank- ' rupts, for allowing further Time for Inrolment of Deeds or Wills made by Papifts, and for Relief of Pro*- ' tejlant Purchafers and Leffees, and for making further Provijion concerning Certificates relating to the Settlements ' of poor Perfons, and the Charges of maintaining and removing certificated Perfons, it was enacted, for the ' Relief of fuch Perfons who had neglected or omitted to inrol their Deeds or Wills, that every Deed f and Will which had been made fince the nine and twentieth Day of September one thoufand kven ' hundred
