When the Fund XXV. Provided always, That from and after the faid Divifion and Separation of the faid prefent Ca- of the Trading pitai Stock of the faid Company into Annuities and a Trading Stock, the Fund of the faid Trading Stock may be Stock of the fold Company or any Part thereof, (hall not, without the Confent of the faid Company, 23'Geo. 2. c 1. be liable to be redeemed by Parliament, until the faid new Joint Stock of South-Sea Annuities lhail have been reduced, by Redemption by Parliament, to a Capital or Principal Sum not exceeding in the whole the Sum of three millions rive hundred thoufand Pounds. An Act for the better Regulation of Laftage and Ballaflage in the River Thames. • ^Tf 7 HE RE AS the Mafter, Wardens and Affiftants of the Trinity Houfe of Depiford Strond in 4 V V the County of Kent, have, by Grants from the Crown, the Laftage and Ballaftage, and the ' fele Right of fupplying all Ships ; rid Veffels with Eallaft that fail, pals and re-pafs in the River of ' Thames, between London Bridge and the Main Sea, at the Rates and Prices accuftcmed ; and are alio 4 intitled to and have a Ptght to dig, raife and take up the Grave], Sand and Soil of the faid River of Thames 1 for the ballafting fuch Ships and Veffels as aforefaid : And whereas the faid Mafter, Wardens and ' Affiftants have for feveral Years laft pnft conftantly employed (ixty Ballaft Lighters,' and one hundred ' and twenty Men to dig and raife Ballaft from the Shelves and Sand Banks of the faid River, and to ' carry and convey fuch Ballaft to Ships and Veffels having Ocofion for the fame, and thereby the ' Channel of the faid River hath been considerably deepened, and feveral Obstructions to the Naviga- ' tibh. therein removed : And the faid Mafter, Wardens and Affiftants have conftantly paid for the railing ' and delivering every Tun of fuch Ballaft the Sum of fix Pence, whereof four Pence hath Leen paid to
