Provided always, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all the Monies coming into the Exchequer, either by Loans or Exchequer Bills, upon one Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Aft for continuing the Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder, and Perry, in that Part of Great Bri- tain called England, and for granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the Service of the Year one thoufand [even hundred and thirty- fix, and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Duties thereby granted and continued, as fhall arife or remain after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft, Premium, or Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Duties fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Exchequer to difcharge the fame; and all the Monies coming into the Exchequer, either by Loans or Exchequer Bills, upon one other Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Aft for granting an Aid to his Majefty by a Land Tax, to be raifed in Great Britain, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-fix, and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Tax thereby granted, as mail arife or remain, after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft, Premium, or Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Land Tax, fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Exchequer to difcharge the fame ; and the Sum of fix hundred thoufand Pounds by this Act granted out of the Surpluffes, ExcefTes, or Overplus Monies, commonly called the Sinking. Fund, fhall be appropriated and applied, and are hereby appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein expreffed, fubject neverthelefs to fuch Reftrictions as are herein after pre- fcribed ; that is to fay, XVIII. It is hereby enacted and declared, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies aforefaid, there iod.' for Naval ma n an 81. for Half-pay Offi- «ers Widows. Shillings, upon Account, for Out-Penfioners of Chelfea Hofpital, for the Year one thoufand feven hun- dred and thirty-fix ; and any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding feven thoufand one hundred forty- four Pounds one Shilling and eleven Pence Farthing, for defraying feveral extraordinary Expences and Services incurred, and not provided for by Parliament ; and any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding forty-lix thoufand feven hundred and eighty Pounds eighteen Shillings, upon Account of Half-pay to the reduced Officers of his Majefty's Land Forces and Marines, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-fix, fubject neverthelefs to fuch Rules to be obferved in the Application of the faid Half-pay, as are herein after prefcribed concerning the lame; and any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding three thoufand eight hundred and twenty-eight Pounds, for paying of Penfions to Widows of fuch reduced Officers of his Majefty's Land Forces and Marines, as died upon the Eftablifhment of Half-pay in Great Britain, and who were married to them before the twenty-fifth Day of December one thoufand (even hundred and fixteen, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty-fix ; which faid Sum of three thoufand eight hundred and twenty-eight Pounds, fhall be iffued to fuch Perfon or Perfons as his Ma- jefty fhall, by Warrant or Warrants under his Royal Sign Manual, direct or appoint to receive the fame, to be by him or them paid over to fuch Widows of Half-pay Officers, or their Affigns, accord- ing to fuch Eftablifhments, Lifts or other Directions, and with and fubject to fuch Conditions, Qualifi- cations, Deductions, or other Allowances for the fame, as his Majefty, by fuch or the like Warrant or Warrants
