His Majefty's, nor the Claim- ants Rights in the PremifTes, hereby preju- diced. SeeV2. Geo. 2. 5*- AcT;i 3 Eliz. e. 12. AS 13 & 14. Car. 2. c. 4. ' Pounds, and partly at the Rate of fix Pounds for one hundred Pounds for a Year j and it will be a Be- ' nerit to the laid Hofpital for the faid Money to be at a lefs Rate ;' Be it therefore enacted by the Autho- rity aforefaid, That it (hall and may be lawful for his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, by Sign Manual to authorize the Commilfioners or Governors of the faid Hofpital for the time being, or any feven or more of them, to agree with the refpective Mortgagees and Incumbrancers of the faid Premifies in the laid haft-mentioned Act named, their Executors, Adminiftrators or Affigns, or any of them, for any lefs Rate or Intereft for the principal Money due on their Securities refpeitively, than the fame is now at ; and in cafe the faid Mortgagees and incumbrancers fhall not fo agree, then to agree with any other Ptrfon or Perfons for the advancing Money at any lefs Rate or Intereft than aforefaid, for pay- ing off the principal Money due on the faid Mortgages and Incumbrances, or any of them, upon the fame being ailigned unto fuchPerfonor Perfons refpectively fo advancing fuch Money. VIII. Provided always, That fuch Affignments fhall be made for the refpective principal Money only of the faid Mortgages and Incumbrances, or any of them, and for the Intereft of fuch principal Mo- ney to grow due from and after the making of fuch Alignments refpectively; and that the faid principal Money and Intereft thereof in all fuch Affignments fhall be made payable at the End of fix Months at the fartheft from the Day of the making of fuch Affignments refpectively. ' IX. And whereas it may be doubtful on the Words of the faid laft-mentioned, whether any Leafe ' can be good by virtue of the faid Act, unlefs executed by all the Commifficners, which will be im- f practicable ;' Be it therefore enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and may be lawful to and for his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, by his and their Sign Manual to authorize and impower the Coma iflioners and Governors for the time being, or any feven or more of them, from time to time during the Continuance of his Majefty's Intereft in the Premifles, to grant Leafes thereof, or of any Part or Parts thereof, in fuch Manner, for fuch Terms, and under fuch Reftrictions, as in the faid laft* mentioned Act and in this prefent Act are for that Purpofe exprefled and contained, referving the Rents thereof to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, which Rents fhall be received and applied in the Man- ner directed by the faid laft-mentioned Act. X. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That this Act, and every Claufe and Mat- ter therein, fhall by all and every Judge and Judges and other Perfon and Perfons be conftrued and ad- judged as largely and beneficially in all Courts of Law and Equity, and all other Places, as can be for the Ends ana Purpofes herein exprefled, and is hereby declared to be a Publick Act of Parliament ; and all Judges and Juftices are hereby required to take Notice thereof as fuch, without fpecial pleading the fame. XL Saving always to the King's moft Excellent Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, all fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and Demand of, in, unto, or out of the faid Premifles, or any Part thereof, as his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeflbrs, might have had or been intitled unto, in cafe this Act had never been made (other than and except fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and De- mand, as was or is vefted in his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, by virtue of the feveral Attainders herein before-mentioned, or either of them, or of the faid recited Acts of Parliament, or any of them ; and other than and except fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim or Demand, which his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, hath or may have in or to fuch Part or Parts of the faid Premifles, which (hall be fold purfuant to the Directions of this Act) any thing herein contained to the contrary in any wife notwithftanding. XII. Saving alfo to the faid feveral Mortgagees and Incumbrancers in the aforefaid Act of the eighth Year of his prefent Majefty named (till they fhall be paid off as aforefaid) and to all and every other Perfon and Perfons, Bodies Politick or Corporate, their Heirs, Succeflbrs, Executors, Adminiftrators and Affigns, all fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and Demand of, in, unto, or out of the faid Premifles, or any Part thereof (except fuch Part or Parts of the faid Premifles which fhall be fold purfuant to the Directions of this Act) as they or any of them might have had or been in- titled unto, in cafe this Act had never been made ; any thing herein contained to the contrary not- withftanding. CAP. XXXI. An Act to indemnify Perfons who have omitted to qualify themfelves for Offices, or to read the Prayers and make the Declarations and Subfcriptions required within the refpective Times limited by Law ; and for allowing further Time for thofe Purpofes. Perfons qualifying themfelves according to the faid Acts by .28 Nov. 1738., and taking the Oaths of Office by 1 Aug. 1738. indemnified. All Perfons re T quired by Law to read the Articles of Religion, and the Prayers, indemnified, if they do fo by 24 Dec. 1738. This Act not to reftore Perfons to Places already forfeited. EX P. CAP.
