Provided always, and it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Gover- Bank to ranti- r.or and Company of the Bank of England, and their Succeflbrs, notwithltanding the Redemption of all nue a torpor*. or any their own Funds, in purfuance of the Acts for eftablifhing the fame, or any of them, (hall ^"iliti.s itl continue a Corporation, with all the Powers, Privileges, and Advantages thereunto belonging, for the redeemed! Purpofcs in this Adt exprefled, till all the Annuities to be purchafed on this Act fhall be redeemed by Par- liament, according to the Provifo herein after contained in that Behalf; and that the faid Governor and Company, or any Members thereof, fhall not incur any Difability for or by reafon of their doing any Matter or Thing in purfuance of this Adl. XXXIV. Provided always, and be it enadted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Commiffioners of Commiflionet. the Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or the High Treafurer, or any three or more of of iheTrcaimy the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, fhall have Power, and they are hereby authorized ^^.v"'/^^ out of the faid additional Duties by this Act granted and appropriated as aforefaid, to reward the Officers (iv^ ois cet , e t and Clerks of the faid Exchequer, that fhall be any Ways employed in the Execution of this Aft, in re- lation to the Annuities, to be payable at the faid Receipt as herein after mentioned, for their Labour, Pains, and Service therein refpedtively, and to difcharge all fuch incident Charges, as fhall neceflarily attend the Execution of this Act, in fuch Manner as to them fhall feem juft and reasonable ; and alfo to fettle and appoint fuch Allowances (out of the Contributions to the Lottery aforefaid) as they fhall think juft and reasonable, for the Service, Pains, and Labour of the Reciever or Receivers of the Contri- butions to the faid Lottery, for receiving and accompting ,for the fame ; as alfo for the Service, Pains, and Labour of the Cafhier or Cafhiers of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, for receiv- ing and accompting for the Contributions to the Annuities granted by this Act; and alfo fuch further Allowances (out of the faid additional Duties by this Act appropriated) as they fhall think juft and rea- sonable, for receiving, paying, and accompting for the feveral and refpedtive Annuities payable in refpect thereof; and alfo for the Service, Pains, and Trouble of the Accomptant General of the faid Governor and Company, for performing the Duty and Truft incumbent on him by this Act ; all which Allow- ances hereby impowered to be made as aforefaid, in refpect to the Service, Pains, and Labour of any Ailowaneent Officer or Officers of the faid Governor and Company, fhall be for the Ufe and Benefit of the faid Go- the Difpofal of ■ vernor and Company, and at their Difpofal only; any thing herein contained to the contrary notwith- tkeBank. {landing. XXXV. Provided alfo, and it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That at any Time upon Provifo for «• one Year's Notice to be printed in the London Gazette, and affixed upon the Royal Exchange in London, jwrmng thefe by Authority of Parliament, at any of the half yearly Feaft Days, for Payment of the faid refpedtive Annuities, or either of them, and upon Repayment by Parliament, of the refpedtive Principal Sums, for which the faid refpedtive Annuities, or either of them, fhall be payable, to fuch refpedtive Perfons or Corporations, as fhall be intitled to the fame Annuities, and alfo upon full Payment of all Arrearages of • the fame Annuity ; then and not till then, the faid refpedtive Annuities, fhall ceafe and determine, and be underftood to be redeemed ; and from and after fuch Redemption, the Monies arifing from the faid additional Impofitions, Rates, or Duties, fhall not be ifiued or applied to any Ufe or Purpofe, but as fhall be directed by future Act or Adts of Parliament, except fo much Monies of the faid additional Im- pofitions, Rates, or Duties, as fhall be fufficient, from time to time, to fatisfy and pay the feveral and refpedtive Annuities by this Act herein after made payable at the Receipt of Exchequer, to the feveral Contributors to the Lottery before mentioned, or their Affigns, during their Lives, or the Lives of their refpedtive Nominees, in Manner herein after diredied ; any thing in this or any former Adt or Acts of Parliament to the contrary notwithstanding ; and that any Vote or Refolution of the Houfe of Commons fignified by the Speaker in Writing, to be inferted in the London Gazette, and affixed on the Royal Exchange What (hall be in London, as aforefaid, fhall be deemed, and adjudged to be fufficient Notice, within the Words and Efficient Noticed Meaning of this Act.
