C. 2. ■ jii Duties on Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, as amply, fully "and effectually, to all Intents and Purpofes, as if the fame Claufes or Proyifoes had been particularly repeated and re-enacted verbatim in this Adt. ' CXLIX. And to the end the fame Bills, or fo many of them as fhall from Time to Time remain un- How the Monies ' difcharged, may the better obtain a Currency for fuch Time as they or any of them are hereby intended arifing by 'his ' to be current ;' Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Money which fliall from Time. Aft lull be ap,- toTime arife at the faid Receipt of the Exchequer, of or for the Aids, Taxes and AffelTmems by this Adt p * granted, {hall, from Time to Time, as the fame fhall arife at the faid Receipt, be iffued and applied at the faid Receipt for or towards paying off and difcharging the Orders of Loan, for the Monies which fhall have been lent at the faid Receipt, and for fatisfying the Intereft thereof, in fuch Courfe, Manner and Form as are before in this Adt prefcribed and appointed for that Purpofe, until all the Principal and Intereft payable upon fuch Orders of Loan fhall be fully fatisfied, or fufficient Money {hall be referved in the Ex- chequer for the full Payment and Satisfaction of the fame, or the Monies which fhall, from Time to Time, arife at the faid Receipt of Exchequer of or for the faid Aids, Taxes or Affeffments by this Adt granted,, fliall, from Time to Time, as the lame fhall arife at the faid Receipt, be iffued to fuch Paymafter by way of Impreft and upon Account, for or towards paying off or difcharging the faid Exchequer Bills which {half have been made forth by virtue of this Adt, in fuch Courfe as aforefaid, and for or towards the Charge of circulating and exchanging the fame Bills, or any of them, and for or towards fuch other Payments as are. in and by this Adt directed or allowed to be made or difcharged out of the fame, and for no other Ufe, Ini- tent or Purpofe whatfoever. CL. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That on the twenty-ninth Day of September Treafury on 29. one thoufand feven hundred and fixty-five, or within ten Days after, the Commiffioners of the Treafury^Sept. i 7 6y, to or any three or more of them now Deing, or the High Treafurer, or any three or more of the Commif- take an Account fioners of theTreafury for the Time being, {hall caufe a true and perfect Account in Writing to be taken °w f *j 3n °"^ and attefted by the proper Officers, of all the Monies which fhall have been railed by Loans, or by Ex- charged. chequer Bills, or by any or either of thofeWays or Means, for or towards the faid Sum, not exceeding two millions, by this Adt intended to be raifed, as aforefaid, and how much thereof {halPbefore that Time have been paid off or difcharged, and how much thereof fhall then remain undischarged, upon the faid Orders of Loan and Exchequer Bills refpedtively, or upon any or either of them ; which Account fhall be publickly affixed in the Office of the Auditor of the Receipt in the faid Exchequer. CLI. And it is hereby enacted and declared by the Authority aforefaid, That the Monies fo remaining Unfatisfied Mo- tinfatisfied, or not difcharged, with the Intereft due or to grow due for the fame, fhall be paid and fatisfied nie t s c ? be P aid out of the next Aid or Aids to be granted in Parliament, after the faid twenty-ninth Day of September one au" or ou"o'& thoufand feven hundred and hxty-hve, and fhall be transferred thereunto, as foon as fuch Aid or Aids fliall the Sinking be granted ; and if no fuch Aid or Aids fhall be granted, whereunto fuch tinfatisfied Monies fliall be tranf- Fund., ferred, before the twenty-fourth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and fixty-fix, then the Monies fo remaining unfatisfied and undifcharged, upon the faid Orders of Loan or Exchequer Bills,, or any of them, with the Intereft due or to grow due for the fame, fhall be and are hereby charged and chargeable upon fuch Monies, as at any Time or Times fhall be or remain in the fame Receipt of the Surpluffes,. Exceffes, Overplus Monies, and other Revenues compofing the Sinking Fund (except fuch Monies of the faid Sinking Fund as are appropriated to any particular Ufe orUfcs, by any former Adt or Acts of Parlia- ment in that Behalf) ; and fuch Monies of the faid Sinking Fund fhall and may be iffued for fupplying Money to the faid Paymafter, for difcharging the faid unfatisfied Orders of Loan or Exchequer Bills in courfe, as the faid Commiffioners of the Treafury, or the High Treafurer for the Time being, fhall diredt,. until all the Principal and Intereft, which fhall be or remain due upon the faid Orders of Loan or Exche- quer Bills, or any of them, fhall be fully cleared and paid off, or Money fufficientrfhall be referved for that Purpofe ; and if at any Time or Times before or after any Money of the faid Aids, Taxes or Affeffments hereby granted fhall be brought into the Exchequer as aforefaid, there {hall happen to be a Want of Mo- ney for paying Intereft, which fhall be adtually incurred and grown due upon the faid Orders of Loan or Exchequer Bills, or any of them, or for Payment of any Premium or Rate, which- fhall, be incurred or grown due by any Contract or Contracts to be made by virtue of this Adt, for circulating and exchanging the fame Bills ; that then, and in every fuch Cafe, the Money fr> wanted fhall and may be fupplied out of the Monies of the faid Fund, commonly called The Sinking Fund (except before excepted) and be. iffued accordingly. CLII.
