Adaptability

Styles 85 and 86, Spirella bust confiners, are designed for figures well developed in proportion to waist size. For the full figure with medium waist length, style 85 is desirable. Style 86 is designed for the same general type of figure having shorter waist and slightly less development. The illustration on opposite page shows style 85.

Description

Styles 85 and 86 are made only of linen mesh. Lace in back. Hook in front. Elastic shoulder straps and three strips of elastic frilled rubber under each arm. Spirella boning in front and back, also at each side of the front near the arm, to control the flesh at this point. Style 86 differs from style 85 only in being about one inch shorter.

Style 85, with proper selection, will care for a figure with development from 14 to 16 inches; complete under arm measurement approximately 6 inches; depth of back approximately 6 inches; depth of back approximately 6½ inches

Style 86, with proper selection, will care for the shorter waisted figure with slightly less development; complete underarm measurement approximately 5 inches; depth of back approximately 5½ inches. In other respects like style 85.

Standard sizes 36 to 50 inclusive. Larger or smaller sizes, Special. In ordering special sizes, fill out Special and Custom Order Blank for Spirella bust confiners.

Adjustment

The lacing in the back, the elastic shoulder straps as well as the elastic under arms on both sides permit of easy adjustment. Has adjustable tape with hook attachment which fastens to front clasp of corset to prevent garment from slipping up. In ordinary sizes, make one inch deduction for lacing space. For measurements and selection of sizes, see booklet "How to Take Measurements". For prices, see price list.
