  1. கையால் கிழிக்கும் பனங்கிழங்கிற்கு ஆப்பும் வல்லீட்டுக்குற்றியும் ஏன்?

  2. கையிலும் இல்லை செட்டியார் பையிலும் இல்லை காசு.
    There is no money either in the hands or purse of the chetty.

  3. கையிலும் மடியிலும் இல்லாதவனைக் கள்வன் என்ன செய்யலாம்?
    What harm can a thief do to him who has nothing in hand or in his belt?
