The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 4th March, 2014, and is hereby published for general information:—
THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2014
(No. 9 of 2014)
An Act further to amend the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research Act, 2007.
Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. (1) Short title and commencement.This Act may be called the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research (Amendment) Act, 2014.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
2. 29 of 2007.In section 2 of the National Institutes of Technology, Science Amendment of section 2.Education and Research Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "the First Schedule and the Second Schedule", the words "the First Schedule, the Second Schedule and the Third Schedule" shall be substituted.
